The Coral Sea Cable Company Pty Limited is an Australian registered company, with equal shareholding by The Commonwealth of Australia, PNG DataCo and The Solomon Islands Submarine Cable Company.
The Coral Sea Cable Company owns and operates The Coral Sea Cable System. It ensures that the system is safely maintained and operated over its expected 25 year life. It directly manages the critical outsourced functions of Network Operations Centre, Marine Maintenance policy and the Australian Landing Party Agreement with Telstra.
The Capacity on the Coral Sea Cable System is operated by PNG DataCo and Solomon Islands Submarine Cable Company through exclusive Indefeasible Rights of Use from The Coral Sea Cable Company.
